Senior Full-Stack Engineer with Design Focus

We're looking for a senior engineer with strong frontend and design skills to join our team starting in January. This role emphasizes creating delightful user experiences and implementing beautiful, functional interfaces. You'll own entire features from design to implementation, with the autonomy to make decisions and deliver high-quality user experiences. Our stack includes modern frontend technologies (TypeScript, React). Familiarity with Java is valuable for full-stack collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • •Own end-to-end feature development from concept to production
  • •Design and implement beautiful, user-friendly interfaces that delight users
  • •Transform product features into production-ready frontend implementations
  • •Make independent design and technical decisions to deliver high-quality user experiences
  • •Build new features and improve existing functionality with modern frontend technologies
  • •Collaborate with backend Java developers on full-stack features when needed
  • •Prioritize implementation velocity - designs must be shipped, not just created

Requirements

  • •Strong frontend development experience with modern JavaScript frameworks
  • •Proven ability to design and implement compelling user interfaces
  • •Track record of independently owning and delivering features from start to finish
  • •Design sensibility and passion for creating high-quality user experiences
  • •Ability to balance aesthetics with implementation pragmatism
  • •Self-directed and able to make both design and technical decisions independently
  • •Excellent communication skills in English (B2 level+)
  • •Ability to work overlap hours with US timezones

Nice to Have

  • •Experience with TypeScript and React
  • •Experience with CSS-in-JS, Tailwind, or modern styling approaches
  • •Background in UI/UX design or formal design training
  • •Familiarity with Java or other strongly-typed programming languages for backend collaboration
  • •Portfolio showcasing implemented designs (not just mockups)
  • •Experience working with US-based companies
  • •Contributions to design systems or component libraries
