QA Tester (B2B Applications)

Medellín, Colombia (Hybrid — 1 day/week in a coworking space)

We're hiring a QA tester in Medellín to make sure the B2B applications we build for Medallo.dev clients work for every user, role, and dataset. You'll own test plans and test suites, test complex permission models and data-heavy workflows, and report clearly to English-speaking clients. The role is full-time and hybrid: one day a week with the team at a coworking space in Medellín, the rest remote. Compensation is up to COP 8,000,000 per month depending on experience, with 15 days of paid vacation per year.

What you'd work on

  • •Write and maintain test plans that cover each feature, user role, and permission level
  • •Build and manage test suites and test cases, and keep them current as the product changes
  • •Test data-intensive workflows: imports, exports, reports, filters, and large or messy datasets
  • •Verify role-based access across multiple user types so each role sees and does only what it should
  • •Report bugs with clear steps to reproduce, expected vs. actual results, and evidence
  • •Work with engineers to verify fixes and run regression testing before each release
  • •Communicate test status, risks, and release readiness to English-speaking clients
  • •Join the team in person one day a week at our Medellín coworking space

What we're looking for

  • •English at CEFR B2 or C1, spoken and written
  • •Experience testing B2B applications
  • •Experience testing applications with multiple user roles and permissions
  • •Experience testing data-intensive applications
  • •Experience creating and managing test plans and test suites
  • •Experience working with English-speaking clients
  • •Based in Medellín and available to work from a coworking space one day a week

Nice to Have

  • •Some experience with test automation (e.g., Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium)
  • •Experience with a test management tool or tracker such as Linear, Jira, or TestRail
  • •Comfort using AI-assisted tools as part of a daily workflow
